Mrs. Alexa Baudendistel
Junior High Math & Social Studies
Ms. Hlebiczki holds a Bachelor Degree in Middle School Education from Thomas More College with concentrations in Math and Social Studies. This is her second year of teaching, but first year at St. Thomas.
Ms. B is a lifelong parishioner at St. Thomas and even went to school here too! She is very excited to be able to give back and provide the quality education that comes from being a Tomcat. In her spare time,
Mrs. Baudendistel could be found running through town, at a sand volleyball court, playing soccer at T&C, or grilling out with her family. Email: ahleb@sttschool.org
Mr. Roger Tarvin
Junior High Math
A graduate of Highlands High School, Mr. Tarvin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Master in Education from the University of Kentucky.  He received his Math certification from Northern Kentucky University.  In his 50 years of teaching he has taught at Newport, Kenton County, Dixie and St. Thomas.  He has coached and officiated baseball, basketball, football and cross country.  Mr. Tarvin has a great love for hiking, amusement parks, reading and good food.
Ms. Kelly Burkhardt
Language Arts & Reading
Mrs.Burkhardt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Masters of Education both from Northern Kentucky University.  This is my 14th year of teaching; however, it is my first year at St. Thomas after being at home with my husband, Dennis,  and our two children for 10 years. 
I enjoy being with my family and attending their activities as well as reading, cooking, and walking around my neighborhood.  
Mr. Charles Marks
Religion
Mr. Marks, a California native, graduated from Franciscan University in 2011(BA Theology) and is currently pursuing his MA in Theology from the Augustine Institute in Denver, Colorado. Since college graduation, Mr. Marks has served as a Chastity speaker, Theology teacher and campus minister. Mr. Marks loves time with his family, studying Theology and playing sports. Mr. Marks married his wife, Kaitlin, in June, 2012. They have two beautiful daughters, Margaret and Elizabeth. Mr. Marks is beyond thankful to be a part of the St.Thomas Parish and School family.
Ms. Lynda Myers
Science/Computer
Ms. Myers attended the University of Kentucky (BS in Management Dietetics), Cincinnati State (computer programming courses), and Northern Kentucky University (Masters in Education). Prior to entering into the teaching field, she worked with computers for 12 years, 6 of those as a programmer. I have been in the education field since December 2004, having been a substitute teacher in several different area schools, and teaching Junior High science, math, language arts, and math intervention for 1st & 2nd grades. I am excited to be at
St. Thomas School and look forward to
the opportunity to teach and learn with
your children.
